Deciding to grow your practice by adding a new therapist to your group is an exciting step.
Maybe you’ve gone down this road before (or at least you’ve tried) and it’s never gone as planned.
Either you had tons of applicants with no one meeting your criteria OR your job postings were met with nothing but crickets in response.
You want to build a group practice with a cohesive and connected team of therapists who serve your patients in alignment with your vision and mission.
And that’s exactly why you need this resource.
Whether you’re a veteran practice owner or just starting on your journey, this will support you in hiring the right therapist for your group practice.
Hi I’m Maureen!
The Group Practice Exchange grew out of my own experience in not only launching my private practice but also in growing it to become a successful, multi 7-figure business with 4 locations in the Chicago area.
When I was just starting out, I spent countless hours researching how to establish a private practice (the legal and procedural steps) and then many more hours learning how to grow it into a group (again trying to figure out the appropriate steps). I remember wishing there was a place that I could go to or a book that I could read, that would not only explain the steps to launch a group practice, but also discuss topics that relate to group practice ownership.
If you received a degree in the social service field like I did, you didn’t get any training in running a business. Instead, through trial and error, I learned what works and what doesn’t in running a counseling group practice. Now, I thoroughly enjoy helping other clinicians reach a place of confidence in running their business, too. I am hopeful that The Group Practice Exchange can become the platform for you to learn how to grow a group practice and become a confident and organized business owner.
